Alluna
Alluna promises “to help your mind and body relax so you can drift off to sleep naturally. So what’s good about Alluna? It contains all-natural ingredients and won’t give you the terrible side effects associated with other sleep aids. It also is relatively inexpensive. What’s not so good about Alluna? It contains a weak generic formula that is lacking in effectiveness. Alluna won’t do much for you. In conclusion, it doesn’t matter how cheap a sleep aid is if it doesn’t work. Let’s take a closer look at Alluna.
What’s in Alluna?
Alluna only contains two ingredients: Valerian Root Extract and Hops Extract.
Valerian Root Extract.Valerian Root is one of the most common sleeping aid ingredients on the market. How does Valerian Root work? Valerian Root contains valerenic acid. Some studies show that valerenic acid can relax the body and induce sleep. Other studies aren’t as conclusive. Alluna contains only 500 mg’s of valerian root. This is a few hundred milligrams short of the recommended intake. Valerian root is best when combined with other effective sleep inducing ingredients. Its effectiveness by itself is questionable. Some (not all) users of valerian root have complained that it makes them drowsy the next day. Final verdict on valerian root-a solid ingredient but needs other quality ingredients to make a substantial impact.
Hops Extract. Hops extract is another sedative. Clinical studies have been inconclusive as to its effectiveness. Some studies done on animals greatly support hops extract’s ability to help insomniacs but it must be remembered that animals and humans aren’t the same thing and results may differ. These studies recommend a dosage upwards to 200-300 milligrams. However, Alluna only contains 120 milligrams.
Valerian root and hops extract are both solid ingredients when taken at the right dosages…but more solid ingredients are needed in Alluna to make it have a substantial impact. Benefits of taking Alluna are not immediate and may take several days to see any effect.
Alluna Side Effects
On the positive side, Alluna is not addicting and contains all-natural ingredients. Some users have complained of drowsiness the next day but other than that Alluna is a fairly sleep sleeping aid.
How much is Alluna?
Alluna can be purchased online for around $12. This is fairly inexpensive but considering Alluna’s weak ingredient formula, this is about what we would expect.
Is there a money back guarantee?
There is no money back guarantee, but then again it isn’t too expensive.
Is Alluna worth purchasing?
Alluna is basically the same generic all-natural sleep pill that we’ve seen over and over with a new label. To sum up Alluna in one word would be weak. It just doesn’t have the potency to make a real difference. It is cheap but like always you pay for what you get.
